The 100G QSFP28 BiDi ER1 uses WDM bi-directional technology to carry 100G full-duplex over a single SMF through different wavelengths, cutting fiber usage by 50% versus duplex solutions. With FEC it reaches 40km on SMF, supports dual-rate 100GbE and 112G OTU4, and interoperates with 4×100G PAM4 400G modules.
