Regional IDC Optical-Electrical Decoupling · 200G DP-QPSK

An IDC service provider in a certain region implemented an optical-electrical decoupling project across two data centers within its metropolitan area network. OTSLink coherent single-wavelength 200G electrical-layer muxponder cards were deployed to transparently connect the existing third-party optical transport layers from vendors such as Huawei and ZTE. Since commissioning, the equipment has been operating stably with all performance parameters within normal specifications.
The system leverages advanced DSP signal processing, operating at 200G per wavelength with 75 GHz DP-QPSK modulation. Key features include Ethernet packet statistics, LLDP, OSNR monitoring, and pre-FEC BER reporting. Management is provided through the NetRiver unified management platform, a B/S architecture based on SNMP and NETCONF protocols, with an additional web-based management interface.

The OTSLink equipment spans a 1,100 km core backbone transmission network. Both equipment and lines are deployed in a 1+1 protection scheme to prevent service disruption from fiber cable cuts. Any node within the network can establish point-to-point service transmission, allowing customers to flexibly re-provision bandwidth on demand as per-node traffic requirements evolve. The system capacity is 40 channels × 400G, with an initial deployment of 6 × 400G wavelengths activated for live services.

Metro Network & Fiber Capacity Expansion
For metro backbone projects with exhausted fiber, OTSLink deploys DWDM with OADM to multiply per-fiber capacity without new cable construction; EDFA amplification and DCM dispersion compensation protect power margin and eye quality over long spans, with each section's link budget verified by our engineers.
Carrier OTN Transport Systems
A private-network carrier built its transport platform on OTN cross-connect and muxponder equipment carrying multi-rate services; 100G/400G coherent modules (400ZR/OpenZR+) deliver high integration and low latency on long-haul routes, while OLP line protection switches traffic between redundant paths.
Enterprise Private Networks & Link Engineering
In financial and enterprise optical private networks, the OTSLink engineering team delivers end-to-end service from product selection, link budget analysis and compatibility testing to deployment and commissioning; 1G–400G SFP/QSFP transceivers and fiber cabling have passed interoperability validation in multi-vendor environments.
